We are on our way to go camping by the lake. Every time we drive out here we have to stop and buy watermelon from the guy on the side of the road. My dad says he has been selling watermelon for forever and it's the best in the whole world. On this hot Texas July day, I am inclined to agree!

We met on the campgrounds and in no time at all, we were best friends. We spent all day together running around. We made each other friendship bracelets. Best friends forever. She had to leave the day before we did. We never saw each other again.
